IS MY WATCH WATERPROOF?

The water resistance of a Reloy timepiece is 5 ATM. We recommend that you avoid all contact with water. Avoid wearing the watch when showering, bathing, swimming, diving, or any activity where it is exposed directly to water. 

Kindly note that water damages are not covered under the 24-month warranty.

 

HOW DO I KNOW WHETHER MY RELOY IS AUTHENTIC?

To ensure the authenticity of a Reloy timepiece, it must be purchased directly from our website. If you have purchased from an unauthorized retailer, such as, but not limited to, Amazon, eBay, and/or Groupon, etc. there is a risk of receiving a timepiece that is counterfeit, used or defective.

Reloy will not honor any warranty claims for watches purchased from an unauthorized retailer.

 

CAN I WASH MY WRISTBAND?

We do not recommend you to wash the leather wristband. Any exposure to water will dry the leather and possibly cause damage to the wristband. However, a local watchmaker or watch retailer may have cleaning products specifically designed for leather.

 

HOW LONG IS THE WARRANTY VALID AND WHAT DOES IT COVER? 

Our timepieces are made according to the high quality standards of Reloy. Nonetheless, your watch is covered by our limited warranty against any defects in manufacturing. The hands, dial, and watch movement are the only components covered under the warranty. The warranty for a Reloy timepiece is valid for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase. Upon expiration of the warranty period, any repairs will be subject to a service charge. Other parts that are not listed above are not covered by this warranty. Should the watch prove to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use, please contact us at info@reloywatches.com. If the product is returned during the warranty period, Reloy will repair or replace any defective watch or watch-part, at no additional expense, within a reasonable time, after the product is returned. However, the customer may be subject to the costs of shipping the product. 

If purchasing from e-commerce platforms such as: eBay and Groupon or an unauthorized third party vendor on Amazon, there is a risk of receiving a timepiece that is counterfeit, used, or defective. Reloy does not honor any warranty claims that are not accompanied by the original purchase documentation.

The warranty does not cover:

  1. Battery, straps, or bracelets.
  2. Tarnishing over time of the watch bracelet or case.
  3. Defects and damages due to loss, theft, fire, water, or natural disasters. 
  4. Water penetration beyond 5 ATM, except in watches marked as water resistant.
  5. Repairs if the watch was not originally purchased from our website or any authorized reseller.
  6. Any damage resulting from abnormal use, lack of care, accidents, or incorrect use of any part of the watch, including strap buckles, bracelets, and watch glasses.

 

HOW DO I GET MY RELOY WATCH REPAIRED?

If you purchased your timepiece directly from our website, and feel it is a matter of warranty, kindly contact us at info@reloywatches.com and we will assist you, directly, to the best of our ability.

 

HOW LONG IS THE BATTERY LIFE OF MY WATCH?

Batteries fitted in our timepieces are expected to last between 2 to 3 years depending on external factors such as, but not limited to: external temperature, humidity, air pressure, etc.
